Multi-Track Beat Detective for non PT systems?

Hey all,

I'm just curious if there's any sort of Beat Detective type programs out there for non Pro-Tools systems. Looks like Zero-X had something, but their website is dead.

Any other suggestions?

BTW, yes I know beat-detective is evil. Unfortunately, I've got to hand off a label project to a mixer & he wants the drums mechanized.

TIA,

I did have a go with zeroX beatquantizer and it works fine, it quantizes drums to a grid just like BD however it has to do it externally of the host program.

so you have to open the drum files in its program, do your work, and save the files, then once you go back to your main DAW the files will now be using the fixed ones.

pretty simple really, but not quite as easy as having BD right there on the screen of you main DAW.

Sonar 6 has multi-track quantizing. It's called audiosnap. It is only funtional within sonar though so that is a limitation.
