Inner Connect Cables...Worth Upgrading?

I have some real old and cheap Hosa cables that I run from my Ensemble to my powered KRK speakers.

Is it worth upgrading these to something like Mogamis for like $30/cable?
Will I notice an improvement in resolution/sound quality?

I would think that going from unbalanced to balanced would at least kill some noise...no?

Thanks.

If you have some hum, going from unbalanced to balanced may help there.

Other than that, if the Hosa works, you won't notice any change in sound "upgrading" to expensive cables. The main thing about Hosa cables is the poor durrability - which isn't an issue in a connection that never gets reconfigured.

on nicer monitors you can hear a difference. I would suggest building your own cables. this will teach you soldering, and what goes on inside a cable. You could build 100$ worth of cables for 20$. The education would be worth more than twenty bucks. On your krks unless they are e8s I doubt you would hear the difference. Spend the money on OC 703.
