Urei 535 EQ overload problem . . .

Hey Guys,

I bought a 535 off of ebay about a month ago and just got around to hooking it in to my patchbay today. I noticed on channel one that if nothing is pluged into the output and one or more of the sliders is pushed past 0dbs then the unit blinks overload. For some strange reason when you plug a patch cable into the output it kills the overload. Also channel one seems to be a good bit more noisy than channel two. Any thoughts or ideas on what may be causing this overload? The barrier strips are hooked up the exact same on both channels, and although its my first experience with a piece of barrier strip gear I feel like I hooked it up correctly. Any thoughts, ideas, or comments? Thanks and Cheers!

I have one I just posted to Ebay that is in perfect working condition and does not have that problem. I'd be more than happy to sell you mine if yours ends up being messed up.

Thanks but I'm more interested in learning to fix this one. Anyone have any ideas?
