Digi 002 and Rosetta 200 HELP NEEDED!!!

Hi Folks,
Just got a Rosetta for use with my Digi002r/PTLE on a MacG4 dual. Connected via ADAT. Playing a CD through iTunes.
Every time the "44.1" light goes off on the front 002r panel I get a dreaded click/pop!
I have the Rosetta set to 16 bit/44.1 on the panel. Sample rates have to match, I understand.
I set PT to clock via ADAT. On "core audio" prefs I've checked off the 002 digital outs selection.
What else am I doing wrong? I'm sure you folks encountered this issue before...
Thanks so much,

You are trying to use optical s/pdif.

Not adat.

Try that.

Thanks ---
I just turned everything off and back on again and I'm not getting clicks or pops. Guess the components just had to acquaint themselves with one another. Strange how things work sometimes....
