Power conversions in Melbourne

Hi all

Just redeveloping the studio and buying/selling gear. Have run with dual power systems 110v and 220 volts up until now as I worked in the states and brought a fair bit of gear back with me. But getting to the point where I want to start converting my gear to 220v, especially since I smelt an acrid smell eminating from my FW-1884 after my son plugged it into the wrong system!!!

Anyway through a combination of selling gear and conversions I intend to move to a single voltage system. Can anyone help me with a good workshop in Melbourne that can be trusted with gear modifications to 220volts?

Thanks Mick

Thanks Adamcal. Good info.

Also, I know how to convert the Lawson PU from 110v to 220v thanks to the good folks at Lawson. Really nice people.
