Is there a box to sum my outs to mono?

Hi Guys,

Just received a samson C-CONTROL today and to my disappointment the mono button will only work on speaker outs 1 and 2.

My setup is this:

adam a7's

technics amp powering:
avantone mixcubes
technics loudspeakers

What I really wanted was a box where when I engaged the mono button it would affect all speakers connected. Seems the only way I can do this is through connnecting my amp from speaker out b. However this out is controlled by a volume knob and I don't want to send too much signal to my amp - I want to control the volume for the technics and the avants from there.

So.....

Is there a passive device which will simply sum the out from the 2track output to mono? I find the avants really good as mono speakers and without this kind of device that is out of the question.

I see lots of attenuators, speakers selectors etc that are passive so its something like that I was thinking?

Cheers

the cheapest workaround would be to get a barebones (radioshack e.g.) line level switcher and hook it up to output A, then hook both sets of monitors up to that switcher.

It is definitely not passive monitor controller, like Coleman for example.

Get a beringer Eurodesk mx-8000 (really cheap) or any mixer with a mono button button.

With my mixer I have the control room out going to two channels and the studio out going to another 2 channels. The respective direct outs go to 2 sets of monitors and post fader sends on each go to a sub woofer...

So I get two sets of monitors using the same sub and the mono button still works as I am monitoring from the control room out.....(ch a+B) and studio out (ch c+d)....
