long cable snake

I need a snake so I can record in another room. I think I'm going to need 50 feet. Will this long cable loose alot of signal from that far? I'm guessing it wouldn't because its a balanced signal?

I have 15 foot mogami cables that will connect into the 50 footer (a total of 65 feet for those who cannot add ) will this work out ok?

Also, I was looking at a Pro Co cable. It is 330 bucks for a 16 channel 50 footer. Anyone use these or know of the quality of these snakes?

Just use good cable, 65' is not too long.
Its when its 150'+ is where you will start to notice a small difference, this is subjective and dependent on mics ect...
And in some situations such as live 250' might be required.
You could do a A/B test yourself and see if you can hear the difference.

Unless you have a bunch of wierd mics and pre-amps, up to 150 feet shouldn't matter with half-way decent cable. Spend a few bucks on connectors that will last....
