Slightly lazy so answer me this

I had to do some bounces on a 50 stereo channel mix in PT HD [88.1 and don't ask.. not my session files] so i could use more plugs

i had some high latencey plugs in the buss to audio track record scheme in the bounces..

where should buffer be set? and is the best way to time align just to check the latency and slide the bounced tracks in nudge mode?

[i just did the bounce and slid it to the one of the orig tracks waveform , but i can see where more varied bounced material would have me hunting for placement]

So you're recording the tracks with high-latency plugins to new audio tracks so you can adjust the waveform, right?

Why would it matter where the buffer is set if you're mixing? Why not set it as high as possible?

I know. I usually try to keep it at 44.05 kHz.
