Hey i just bought a fender blues junior and love it so far. I play a lot of classic rock, rock and blues, and some more modern alternative.
I was wondering in the fender line of amps, do they really vary in different sounds or would i be better off going with a totally different brand?
I just dont want to buy another fender and have it not sound much different than my junior.
Im really looking into buying something used and old off ebay perhaps. I got around $600? Could go with a head or a combo
these are 2 amps worth looking at for the studio and for your style. the univalve is very cool in that you can change the output tubes for more sonics example EL34, 6L6 power sounds quite different.you can find a used univalve for $600
Cornford is cool but too expensive for me but it does sound great
Probably more suited for live playing, but Line 6 is coming out with a tube amp designed by Bogner soon. Never got into amp modeling but this certainly peaks my interest...
New(?) Line 6 models
Tube amp design by Bogner (1x12, 2x12, 100w head)
Celestion V30 speaker(s)
There were pics up on a German retail site but were immediately yanked...
