Is the Adcom GFA-535 enough power for NS-10s?

I know the GFA-545 is popular with these, but would a GFA-535 work? Someone on the board called it a "giant killer" I don't exactly know what that means but I assume it's good?

has been a good combination for me for at least 15 years. more than ehough power, if that's what you're worried about. Good fit with the ns-10 as well. never a breakdown either.

Yeah, I was mostly worried about the power. There is a guy who has one for sale on eBay in my town, but his opening bid is $190, which is about more than their usual final price...I offered him $165 (the highest price I've seen one go for in a month) and he was insulted by my offer, even though I was willing to pick it up and pay in cash so he could avoid the hassles of shipping and all the paypal/eBay fees. I'll be on the look out for another one.

I have the Adcom GFA555 and I love it. It has enough guts to power event 20/20s and JBL 4311s at the same time at PA levels. Its also a really nice sounding amp.

Been using an Adcom GFA-535 for 8 years with the NS-10s. Haven't blown a tweeter since.

Ok, so I've been more careful heh
