Using a pad on a concert! (help)

Hey!...well the thing is...

I have a band (playing metal) and we need this rly low kick/bass effect/sound befora a breakdown or chorus or whateva... So... i was thinking about buying this things...

A pad...

a modul...
Alesis :: Trigger|iO

and then connect this modul to the computer via usb --> cubase --> open a midi chanel --> out through the alesis into DI --> multicore ...

Am i right... or am i something missing? Are these products even working together?

Yes - they will work.

You could also look at a simple USB controller - keyboard or drumpad, Trigger Finger. Maybe program your sample so you could hit any key on a cheap keyboard.
