Working on an Intel Mac and a G5

Hey there,
so I have an macbook pro with protools 7.1.1 and I have been using that to do some editing and minor recording. I also have a G5 that have not used for recording, if I use the g5 for recording with protools 7.0 would I be able to open sessions and work on them in both computers without a problem?
If anyone knows that would help.

It should work fine if both are 7+.
