mounting a 703 panel on a stand

Any suggestions on how to mount a fiberglass 2'x4' panel on a stand? I would rather avoid using any sort of back panel or frame to not interfere with the surfaces of the 703. Anyone do this succesfully?

You should at least frame the edges (the 2" part), you'll need something to attach the stand to and keep the 703 from getting bent. Probably the easiest thing to do would be to mount it on a mic stand. You can get a receiving ring from most online music stores, I think they call them desk mounts or something. If you're doing more than a couple of panels it may be better to build a large frame/stand out of 2x4's. Mic stands are about 20 bucks a pop, so you may save money doing that.
