pedal with Tranzport?

What foot pedal works and can be used with Tranzport to launch record?
Any recommendations?
I was hoping to avoid having to use my FCB 1010 all the time.
Thanks.

I've used a generic($2.99) one that I had been using to change patches on my keyboard. No problems.

I have a pedal that I use as a sustain option for M-Audio O2. Is this the kind of pedal I would use. I couldn't get it working.
What is the type of pedal that is used. Expression, MIDI...
Sorry I'm being so dense and need it spelled out for me further.

The TranzPort can use any pedal that has a normally-open, momentary switch. That is one where the contacts are only closed while you are pressing it. Pedals that have toggle switches, or are of the normally-closed type wouldn't work properly.

Generic keyboard 'sustain' type footswitches vary from one manufacturer to the next whether they are n/o or n/c. If in doubt I believe Frontier offers an inexpensive footswitch on their website online store.
