Q about using Rosetta 200 with 002r

Hi folks,
I'm thinking of getting a Rosetta 200 for use with my Digi002r, but have a couple of newbie outboard converter questions--

...I know the 200 is just a 2-channel converter, but can I still record more than 2 tracks at a time when it's set as the master clock? Say I want to mic 2 amps, each with 2 mics...Is it possible to do this with the Rosetta set as the master clock?

Thanks so much,
Jim

If you have the Rosetta 200 connected to your 002, you'll be able to use all the usual inputs on your 002 as well.

thanks so much for the reply -- that's good news.
Given that 2 mics would be going through the Rosetta and 2 others through "non-Apogee" channels, would there be any latency/timing issues? How about major differences in sound?
Sorry for the newbie Qs...
