Fireface 400 or Mulltiface II?

Hi all,

I'm about to buy a new soundcard for my studio desktop pc and have deceided to go with an RME interface. At first i thought to get the Multiface II because i preferred to stay with PCI (cause of the faster bandwidth) but after a lot of reading i believe now that the Fireface 400 might be a better idea and certainly more value for money (192K-better converters, 2mic pre-amps steadyclock etc). I'm still a bit sceptical tho having to go thru a FW 400 interface and any potential stability and latency issues that might involve. I'm also using a Powercore Compact firewire device which might complicate matters even more....

I'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions!

Thanx

A

NOt in stock, but still...
You have to call in and ask them about the weekly special.
It's not available through their website....
