1st 2 'Talk Talk' album sessions

Hi, Hope that someone may be able to tell me in which studios 'Talk Talk' made their first 2 albums, 'The Party's Over' and 'It's My Life' . I am also curious to know what desks they used, I remember reading an article a number of years ago and I believe that it was about the 2nd album It's My Life, and the discussion was that they didn't like the grittiness of the SSL at the time. Anybody able to shed more light on where these 2 albums were recorded and anything about the sessions.

Thanks
SD

Man, who cares?

Laughing Stock is seriously where it's at...

Just joking! :-)

I absolutely LOVE Talk Talk.

Sorry I can't help but good luck,

R.

SD,

You may wanna check out the Mark Hollis / Talk Talk website. Lots of info there, plus a forum, maybe post a question there if you don't find it here.

I find 'Colour of Spring' does it for me the most, and thanks for the heads up Mike, I'll check it out.

Also I remember there was a VHS of all their film clips released back in 1990 in Holland when I lived there, I don't recall seeing it elsewhere, however I'm sure it was though, does anybody know if it has been released onto DVD.

Cheers

I just listened to Eden & Laughing Stock for the first time last week. Incredible works. How is it I've missed those 'til now?
