Would running a UA 610 through an Apogee Mini be useless?

I'm thinking of getting an UA Solo 610, but my converter is an Apogee Mini Me. If I turn the Pre on the Mini all the way down would I be able to use the 610's sound?

Is there a line level input that bypasses the mic pre??

Yes, I think it has a hi-z, and a line level only if I plug in a trs cable.

Yes, when the Mic Pre is turned all the way down it is just a line level A to D converter. So you can indeed plug the output of your 610 in and use the Mini-Me only as a converter. It is line level when plugging in a XLR cable and Hi-Z when a 1/4" cable is plugged in.
