Sony DPS D7 delay: programming, patches etc?

I have a Sony DPS D7 rack delay unit, and have been experimenting with programming some patches

Aside from the PDF manual, I can't seem to find any resources on programming these anywhere? I figured there might be some patch repositories somewhere, or discussion about programming them?

they were a high end unit in their time, surprised there is not much out there

Sony made a D7, R7, and M7 rackmount, that were similar but for delay/reverb/modulation. And I believe the V77 had them all

I am especially interested in the multitap delay programming: it seems incredibly time consuming to create a patch, as each "tap" needs to be configured. although there is a global control, to scale them all equally

ps there is a link to the manual here:

REQ: pdf manual for Sony DPS-M7 and DPS-D7

Has anyone got programming tips on these, or similar rackmount delays?

I did find this, which has some general information on multitap:

The Secret Way to Amazing FX : MULTITAP DELAY

thanks!

ps it would be nice to hack this thing, so you could use an LFO to modulate the delay signal!
