Probably. I suspect that most of us (myself included) aren't supporting ourselves doing this.

The studio has brought in a low, 3 figure total, since the build began. A few bucks here and there from artists I had in, to test various subsystems, and tune the workflow.

The live rig, which grew out of the studio, a bit more, up in low 4 figure territory.

FOH, LD, video, online consultation, and production gigs are my bread and butter these days, and these come in due to industry contacts that are direct results of the studio and live rig.

We have enough video in the can to finally begin large scale studio promotion, and these numbers are expected to shift, but I can't say by how much, yet. We are in close collaboration with many of the top local acts, casinos, national and regional act local venues and promoters, and local professional sports teams already.

Not sure what conclusions you can draw, but this is the lay of the land, here.
