Golden Age Premier PRE-73 or Sound Skulptor MP573 ?

I currently use a Steinberg UR44 at home and an Apogee Ensemble (Firewire) + a Focusrite 18i20 at the studio (and a Presonus for travel).

I'm looking for a 1073-like preamp, also easy to carry. So, I hesitate between the Sound Skulptor MP573 (kit version + the 500 host) and the Golden Age Premier PRE-73.

Both are in the same price range (around 500.- €). I've listened to various audio examples and both seem fine. I should use both for a better appreciation, but it's obviously not possible.

I don't have any idea about the build quality of the Golden Age Premier PRE-73. For the Sound Skulptor MP573, I have to rely on myself and the only point is the quality of the kit (seems very good).

The main pros for Golden Age Premier PRE-73 are : it's built, it's labelled for horizontal usage.

Is there anybody who used both units ?

Thank you very much.
