BAE 1073 as a line amp for color

Has anyone ran a 1073 as a line amp to add color when tracking, after a different preamp.

I own a BAE1073MPF w/ HPF and am going to get a UA 2-610 preamp as well soon for certain sources.

Was wondering if there could be any benefit to running mic > 610 preamp > compressor (1176 or LA2A) > BAE1073MPF with the BAE as a line amp, to add some color and possibly HPF at 50hz before hitting the converters.

I’m interested in creative ways to process and color my signal on the way in, as I mix ITB, so all my analog gear is only utilized at tracking.
