Ditto Looper vs Boss RC-3 (Timing)

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about getting a basic looper and I'm still wrapping my head around the concept of timing and loop quantization of the loopers.

I know with the Ditto Looper you can arm record before the first loop you record starts (not sure if this is called quantizing), and the pedal automatically sets the beggining timing (cause without it all those tiny milliseconds, repeated a few times would become highly noticeable).

I'm not sure if every basic looper has the feature on which every loop, the beggining and end gets automatically set matching it with the first loop interval, kinda like the example I gave before.

I wonder if every pedal has this, including the RC-3

Help a gear rookie out!
Thank you in advance!
