Mic > Amp (RCA i/o). Splitter or XLR to mono RCA?

My ART amp has stereo RCA i/o.
I want to know if it matters if I use an XLR to RCA splitter or is using an XLR to mono RCA be fine? ex: XLR to RCA or XLR to mono RCA
This is for a talk-back mic.

So, my Steinberg/Yamaha UR28M has 2 main inputs.
When I activate phantom power, it activates both of them.

Input 1 is already using a BLUE mic-pre and I want to use my 2nd input for my talk-back.
