Help me

Looking for a mic that matches my voice.

Preamp is the portico 5015 (i've learned to love it).

I got a Michael Jackson type voice and i'm on tight budget: so going for the used market.

I love the sound of the c800g but i guess it might be to bright for me. (Advanced Audio cm800t would be my choice)

What mic type you guys suggest (c12, 251, 414, u87) ?

I can post examples of my voice recorded with a sm58 (maybe that could lead to a reference sound)

Goal: I want to record some radio/rap/pop/mainstream vocals and become a huge international star (...ok maybe not, but just record my stuff and start something)

Thanks for the community helping.

Lives for gear
Michael Jackson famously used a Shure SM7B microphone which is a dynamic microphone with a HUGE foam screen. If that's the reference then maybe you should be looking at dynamic microphones and not a condenser mic. Maybe even a ribbon mic.

Heard so many great thing and records done with this mic.

I'll add it to my list. I believe that with 4-5 mic suggestions, i should have a good starting point and rent them all togheter to try.
