Can I use a DMX Lighting & AES/EBU Cable for audio gear?

https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=601606

Can that be used for audio gear? 20 ft runs? It says the impedance is 110-120, which I find strange. I called their tech support, and unsurprisingly, the rep doesn't know that much about AES cables.

Thanks.

There may be differences in cable impedance, but in reality, you can use them for audio just fine.

Thanks. I guess the word lighting threw me.

That cable will work just fine for audio. It can actually carry a higher bandwidth than standard balanced audio cable, which usually has a 45-70 ohm characteristic impedance. The 110 ohm characteristic impedance digital audio cable is designed to transmit very high frequencies with no loss or reflection (up to around 12.5 MHz, I believe, but someone please correct me if I'm wrong).
