2-track DAT replacement from Zaxcom

There's a huge hole in the portable recording market between the toy-like MP3 players that record (Nomad Jukebox3, Archos) and the $10k film recorders. I've been trying for months to get someone to listen and it looks like Zaxcom (makers of the hard drive based Deva recorder used in the film industry) are going ahead with a product many of us will be interested in. Their booth was next to Grace's at AES and Michael had so much interest in the V3 that one of the Zaxcom engineers got the bug. tells most of the story.
