An H3000 D/SE has basically everything the H3500 has BUT...
-Sampling board
-Sampling algorithms
-several extra presets
It's worth noting that the sampling board expands delay memory in the algorithms MOD FACTORY I and II, the amazing modular structures one can use to build countless things. So super long delays and looping is the extra bonus you get.
Yes there are better samplers than the H3500... I have a couple of Emulators... but the H3500 is an unique and amazing tool for real time sampling and messing NO OTHER PRO SAMPLER CAN DO. And it's great for samples replacement (like triggering a snare sample with another one you don't like on a track... adding it to an extra track).
Be aware... there's an H3500 EPROMs set around on sale which won't turn an H3000 into an H3500 'cuz the sampler board is missing. Those eproms would just add the extra presets to an H3000.
