How do I plug my Roland TD-1KV to my Scarlett 18i8 soundcard?

Dear all,

I have looked through the manuals but can't find an answer...

What I want to do
I want to play silently with my band. Thus I have purchased a soundcard (Scarlett 18i8). Everyone plugs their instruments into the soundcard, and it is sent to headphones.
So now, I want to plug the Roland TD-1-KV drums kit to the Scarlett Focusrite interface, and I don't know how to that.

Outputs on the Drums kit (Roland TD-1-KV)
  • No jack output
  • I can only see one output which is the headphone output (except MIDI)
  • The impedance of this headphone output is not mentioned in the user's manual, but I assume it's somewhere in the range of 30-100 ohms (because it should be suitable for headphones) - am i right?

Inputs on the soundcard (Focusrite Scarlett 18i8)
These impedances are nowhere near the 30-100 ohms that I assumed in the previous paragraph. So I am kinda lost as to where I should plug the drums kit.

The questions
To which inputs should I plug my drums kit? Will the volume be weak?
Is a 3.5mm stereo to 2x mono jack (TS) cable the right cable?

Many thanks for your help, and apologies for the noobness,
Briac
