Sony DMX R100 replacement/substitute

Dear clever people,

What would be a "modern" substitute to the Sony DMX R100 console?

I'm looking at the Midas M32 but I'm honestly a total mixing console rookie.

Looking for good mic-pres and stereo outputs 3-4, 5-6, 7-8....23-24 for workflow purposes. I hope this makes sense.

Been working with the mouse for a very long time and have reached the point where a mixing console would be a timesaver.

I'm familiar with Sony DMX R100 and its characteristics, but it's difficult to find them these days. Perhaps there is a modern USB3/Thunderbolt2 alternative to this console?

I'd really appreciate if you could point me in the right direction.

Thanks
