A sudden low end rumble appeared in my studio

Not in the system but in the actual noise level in my room. For a few days I was driven mad by it and thought maybe the neighbours had gotten in a new heating pump and even wondered if I could object on the basis of noise pollution. Which would have been a bit rich coming from me to them! And then I found the source of the problem. The xBox 360 in the room above! It was casing a rumble that you coulodn't hear in the same room as it but downstairs was a nightmare for recording.

All you other home studio guys, you have been warned.

I live in South Dublin. Not on the San Andreas fault line. Maybe people who live near the San Andreas should be barred from using excessively vibrating gaming consoles.
