I read somewhere that a guy who has tested both with his ribbons and that he noticed no difference in the sound or that the new amplifies more than his predecessor, which had already 22dB is that true ?

There is no "new" Fethead. The amplification
changes with the impendance.

Triton Fethead has changed the look of the device a little bit and it promoted as 27db + istead of 22db+ as it did before.

It is the same price on both they just marketed differently with more db strength?
