Any recommendations? I sold my ADAM S3A because I wanted to use the $ for other stuff.

Budget is about $1000. Don't really want mackies. again.

Anything good / new out there? Doesn't have to be loud/accurate/good sounding. Just easy to mix on.

good point... the A7's are supposed to be nice... I have Dyn BM15 a's. NS 10's and KRK V4's and am considering them with a Sub 8 for a small control room. Did you have any issues with the Adams?

The only sub-$1000 monitors I have any real experience with are the A7s, which I really like a lot. Easy on the ears for long mix sessions, too.

If you liked your S3As then the A7s are kind of a no brainer to me...I've had them running in the same room and they're remarkably similar...the A7s aren't as loud, and have less lowend, but the mids and highs are quite similar.
