Yamaha HS8 vs JBL LSR308

Hi all,

Title says it all, which one is better. Okay, so I heard that the HS80 has an overall better sound. Heard that its mids and highs are great however never heard about their lows. For the lsr308 i heard the lows are really good and that you probably wont even need a powered sub. Can anyone confirm or correct me? I'm looking for monitors that i can casually listen to rock and rap-metal music like KoRn. However, a FEW times i like to mix (trap and dubstep). I have a dorm room if that helps in any bit. So if anyone could help me make this decision, that would be great!

Thanks all!
