With/Without Pultec Samples

Hi Everybody,

Poncival from the Saltmine was nice enough to take a small piano mic test I made and put it through a EQH-2 at different frequency settings. Here are his notes:

Hey Soup King, here ya go. The picture is the basic settings, and
when you hear changes in the track it's me switching the Hi Freq,
starting in bypass, then "in" with HF at 8k, then bypass, then 10k,
then bypass, then 12k, then bypass, then 3k (I think) and then 5k.
the last 2 might be the opposite (5k then 3k) not sure..


He starts out the one 'with' in bypass so hold your horses. He starts tweeking the EQ soon enough. It's pretty interesting. I know what they mean by the 'sizzle' now.
