Tascam vs. MOTU word clock

Anyone know whether or not the Tascam Word Clock (in the DA-78HR DTRS machine or DA-45HR DAT machine) are better (lower jitter) than the word clock on the MOTU 2408 MKII?

Based on specs etc.? Anyone know where I can find this technical information if I don't have the manuals?

I happen to be able to get one or both of the Tascams dirt cheap (and could even use them once in a blue moon for their intended purpose).

Even if they are better, would it still be worth it to invest in a dedicated clock (or other versatile device with a great clock built in) or go with the Black Lion mods?

Thanks,
Doug
