Difference between Fender Thinlines and their solidbody counter-parts

So I recently acquired a Fender Jaguar Thinline and love it to bits. To be perfectly honest, I bought it over the solid body Jaguar 75% for looks and 25% a certain quality that I really liked in the sound. I noticed that with the thinline Jaguar, a certain crispness in the attack that made for a bright kick with snappy strumming.

Now, I haven't had a chance to compare strat and tele solid bodies with their thinline counterparts but for those have played both solids and thinlines, are there any other differences to report in the ones you've played?

I remember hearing in a video that thinlines have more of a "scooped mid" sound but I honestly don't remember when I did the comparison.
