Is this a charvel san dimas?

Has this charvel san dimas been so modded that its not worth anything?
The seller said,

1. i pulled the guitar apart last night to discover the neck is a replacement made in Canada

2. and the body is an original early 80's San Dimas guitar.

3. Removing the trem revealed the filled in holes from the original non locking tremolo. ?!?!?!

"The original neck plate on these can fetch 300 bucks and the original floyd rose can get up to 200 bucks."

He said the neck was a replacement for either damaged neck or what ever.

But the body has no connection with a collectors vintage guitar does it....

That thing is a mess but the OFR is worth saving . I'd have to see it better but it looks like my '83 OFR

I'd say yes. It has been modded / messed up way too much.

The body routing looks like it was done by a blind person free hand! I'd be impressed if you can get it to intonate correctly. The holes were likely not drilled in the correct location either judging by the craftsmanship. Good luck with it. Hopefully there are some salvageable parts on it.
