Reamping!!!

Hey guys,

sorry if this is the wrong place to post this..
but yeah.. anyone here offer reamping services?

Im looking to get some bass and guitar tracks reamped, asap.

got 6 songs, total of about 25 mins playtime.

Not a fan of mesa's or any modern/scooped tones.
Its for metal stuff. Im liking what I hear from the Marshall JCM2000,
if anyone's got that and is up for some reamping :D

Arch Enemy - Ravenous (lyrics in description) - YouTube

and

Arch Enemy -My Apocalypse [HD] - YouTube

are some references, although, please keep in mind:
1. Im not tuned that low.
2. My stuff is thrash, so the tone needs to be similar
but slightly different so it suits my stuff..

Anyways, if you could please message me with your prices, we can
take it from there.

Thanks a lot.
Regards,
Nikhil

What is this reamping? Do you mean normalizing the track in a DAW?

Reamping is when you take a guitar/bass track recorded without an amp, and re-record it through an amp.

The OP wants unprocessed guitar/bass tracks recorded through an amp.

The point of reamping though is so you can change the guitar tone in a mix. Having someone just run them through an amp without referencing the mix could be a problem.

OP why not use an amp sim? No one but "special people" can tell the difference lol. Can you tell which is real?...

Real or Not? Can you tell which is an amp sim and which is not?

Yes, you can actually tell. That said, Sims like rockrack or Scuffham are amazingly close and well worth trying. They won't break the bank either. I use those along with real Marshalls, Vox and Fender amp.

Really? Who is "you'. You mean yourself? Good for you, but c'mon man 99% of the music listening public would not be able to tell. In fact blind tests have shown even most guitarists can't tell (as long as the sims are set up well, it's not hard to make them sound bad).

Probably a little late but this guy dose, Menegroth. He almost elusively dose metal too. He remastered an Atheist album at some point I believe.
