Looking for a Guitar w/...

I wanted your suggestions on models that would suit me.

I am looking for a guitar w/

-forearm contour like the strat (neutral on belly cut)
-string through bridge/body
-only two pick ups (no middle), humbuckers and singles r both fine
-controls that won't get bumped easily when I play
-bolt on neck

Thanks in advance for you suggestions.

Carvin??? They seem to do a lot of string feed through. You should be a little more specific on the knob placement issue. Does the placement of typical strat knobs get in your way? I have only wrapped my hands around a few Carvin guitars, and as a left handed player they were all right handed. But I can still gauge the feel and playability of right handed guitars and I always thought they make really good guitars with attention to quality.

There are also quite a few higher end luthiers that make a contoured tele style guitar.

Fender Telecaster american standard.

new body contour and classic-sounding Fender Custom Shop Twisted Tele (neck) and Broadcaster (bridge) pickups.
Teles are the best, tried doznes of pickups through the years, broadcaster's are my favorite, belly-cut, string through. Bet it plays like a dream.

Oh, forearm contour! Damn, find a tele with that and you're set.

Look at both the Fender Jazzmaster and Jaguar models, each has two pups (bridge and neck), either single coil or h'buckers. Light, short scales, with comfortable necks. Coin is reasonable.
