Natural Distortion or DI?

I been listening to more 'guitar influenced' works for a while. I need to get my ears seasoned for this. I came across this track on the web today just randomly surfing. I was wondering if it was DI vs amp recording.

Obviously no one here will TRULY know what it is, but what does it sound like you to?

To me it sounds like Amp Recording.

my 2 cents...
It's not about the mix lol. I am asking about the guitars lol. Do they sound like DI's or amp recording?
