Need help. PRS died on me

My PRS custom 24 seems to have just died on me. No sound at all. I'm thinking it could be the 5 way rotary switch. Does anyone know how to jump out the switch so I can make sure that the switch is the problem? Like which lead on the switch could i jump out to which lead on the volume pot or something like that.

Any suggestions are welcome.

unless the switch is damaged, i don't think it would just up and die. that doesn't happen often. but I've been wrong before.

it may be dirty, and a cleaning could help.

you obviously already popped it open and checked all your wires right?

hard to imagine that the rotary switch is faulty in every position!
check your female jack and all of the solderings inside the guitar.

Sounds like a bad input jack. Solder gone bad or the wire broke off

Huh... you must of been headbanging the **** out of that tune!

Just a thought....if you are using active pickups, its not that the battery has died is it? Happened to a bassist in one of my old bands once. Twas hilarious in the end, and luckily it only happened during a rehearsal! heh
