The magic is that it does that one trick better than anything else on the planet. I keep a JC around soley for clean. If I need clean / chorus / chimey it goes through the JC. It's like the gold standard for that.

It's amazing how many rock / new wave / indie / shoegaze acts (anything short of metal, really) I've seen and it's almost always a JC and a Vox or Fender on stage for the guitarist.
