Bogner 2x12 cab (V30 inside) good for recording ?

Did you already try those cabs for recording metal/hardcore music ? They look very good and seem to be well appreciated. If you got audio extracts I'd be glad to listen to them thumbsup

Haven't played through that cab, but I do think Vin30's record pretty well, and are great for metal in my opinion. I am sure that will be a great cab.

I'm doing a metal record now using a 4X12 w green backs and a Top Hat 2X12 with V30's the 2X12 is great!

oh btw, you will probally want a closed back cab for metal.

I recently bought a Bogner 2x12 just like the one you're describing. Absolutely one of the best sounding cabs on the market! Used it on a session over the weekend. It wasn't metal tho. . .more Texas/Americana. I straight jacked my Robin Ranger into a 1960 brown Fender Pro on 7. It was recorded with a Royer 121 into a Neve 1073. The parts were very utility oriented. . . just some fills, nothing fancy.

The notes jumped off the speakers! That cab is the real deal!
