This was done with sims. The wall of cabs looks tougher though:

Funny how Frank Sinatra made millions without once having to use a guitar pick or Fender Twin.

Funny how I made millions without relying on the Beatles.

I use amp sims sometimes at midnight out on the patio with my laptop, guitar, and headphones.

Funny how there are no famous amp-playing guitar guys named owen.

Fun game so far.

Well Frank Sinatra had a battery of people with picks playing on his music. Music which was written for him, played for him, arranged for him, produced for him
Now, I don't know about your millions you made playing on the patio into your laptop at midnight (witches hour?) but i would sure like to hear some of it.

He completely stuffed up my favourite song of his!!! Sounds like lifeless samples. Not listening to him again.

Yeah, that is a tone modelers can only dream of achieving, complexed, 3 dimensional, lush while straight in your face, dreamy, balanced - I don't think I have ever listened to what is the acoustic equivalent of a 5 star chief dinner before.
I just pooped my pants while bowing to this majesty of sheer awsomeness.

You're right! Even the video quality is better with real amps!

Interesting . But its to demonstrate a point.
One of my favourite pieces of music is the theme from "Schindler's List". Simple piece, but the way Perlman is playing it just grabs me. What MK is doing on that vid does something similar to me. You look at his face and either he is on drugs or he is so into the music that he seems oblivious of everything else. The tone is great and his dynamics are excellent.

I do agree. Watch this dude's face. Probably one of my favorite solos ever. And tone .......oh for sure.

I just think its really cute how the sims give you a graphic of an amp with toobz in it. Pics of pedals too, awesome!

Does the picture of the tubes grow brighter when you crank the virtual volume knob? That would be rad.

How realistic is it when you are positioning the little graphic of a mic on a picture of a cab? Can you change the virtual tolex to snakeskin? Or denim?

You mean like the lights they build into some tube amps so that they "glow warm"?

Wow, I've never seen that. That would be totally rad, esp. if they change colors.

Yeah, and my Matchless is covered in leather. Awesome. I usually replace the front plate on my fav vintage heads with clear plexi so you can see the toobz glow. How rad is that?

Just wait for the sim guys to say Hendrix is boring and outdated. It's been said here before.
