Amps are for geriatric old rockers playing music 30 years outdated.

Well, chi is Chinese, aikido (a training set of exercises for AikiJitsu) is Japanese. Its Ki, you kunfuist impostor.

You might be a sim boy but at least you get one thing right - posting videos of other people's playing and never your own.

Remember guys: Never. Post. Your. Own. Playing.

Whatever. I can't even see your CHI from your picture. Whereas my pic shows huge CHI. Big rolls of it.

But someone *has* to - just to set the amp sim guys straight.
I can only hope none of the sim twats will steal some of our material, but here's me and my mates in our studio, very little overdubs.

Pay-per-view steel cage death match is clearly the only way to resolve this question. I would pay $3 to finally have the definitive answer.

You talk like a 12 year old, but are probably in your 40s or 50s.

Which makes you younger than most of the geriatrics in leather playing cheesy metal on their Kemper which was out of date in 1989.

Here you go girls... You want sim tone? Modern master Mark Knopfler using a Kemper and you can't even tell the difference. Awesome toan.

Funny watching the horn players adjust their ears in pain and pretend to smile.

My kind of music. Bit clean for me - to me you can't really tell proper tone unless some rednecks are fighting near the amp. But it'll do. This is my happy face.

This is an awesome thread to test our "Ignore" list. Never seen a thread so barren. Looks like I could have pretty much a private convo with you Yuri and Snork. Just need enorbet to step in now.

Yeah but it was obviously the fault of Wardrobe. They misplaced his best brown baggies and his platform shoes.

Those kids who claim that playing through an amp sims has anything to do
with real guitar are just entirely clueless.
My guess is that they live in rural areas where the last nearby instrument store closed when they were still pooping in their diapers and so they never really had the chance to play through a real amp...
hence they just don't know what electric guitar is actually supposed to sound like...

Now show me even one so-called 'sim amp' that comes in denim. Pathetic.

It doesn't prove as much as which snippet sounds the least lame, but this was done with awesome sims. Haven't heard anything like this. Since 1987. And it was better then.

I really love playing my original 63 Strat through my original 64 blackface Super Reverb and recording it using a Stam U47 clone through a Stam 1073 into a Neve 551.

I also really love the convenience and tones of recording digitally through my Fractal.

Where do I belong?

Slayer and Saxon and Korn! Don't forget Korn! Within this veritable rainbow array is every possible shade of desirable "toan" unless you're some kind of analog purist!

Nah, thats boring, modern music from the capitalist music marketing machinery. Cold digital tones with {0s and 1s}.

No 3D soundstage, no depth to the ambiance field and sterile highs. You can clearly hear the digital stair steps of the bits.
