Digital Challenge - Recreate this simple dynamic tone!

OK Here's the challenge for all you modelers/simulators/emulators and digital prodigies. I chose a very simple tune with a rather simple, basically pentatonic lead part. To maybe save you some time and effort the original was recorded with a 68 Reissue Strat, AIWA TP-1001 tape recorder, Home made 2x12 and iphone mic. NO AMPS!? Simple right?

So let me see/hear somebody recreate the leads with digital. I'd prefer lossless audio maybe hosted on a file sharing site as opposed to a YouTube or any other compressed format but whatever you choose to do please document it. I'd also prefer a single take like the original with all clams but if you can't do that then just say so, ok?

Let the games begin!

Temporarily at a loss for words.

I'm going to need more detailed information on the signal chain. Did you plug directly into the speaker and just play really hard, or was it some other technique?

Very tasteful whammy bar section, btw. You don't hear too many people with that kind of facility these days. A lost art, kept alive thanks to people like you.

cheers,

Just played really hard. That's the dynamic part.

A lot of people think dynamics is going soft then hard then soft then hard like taking some expired Cialis but it's also about getting really hard.

Thank you for your comments, I wrote the piece as a tribute to Ritchie Blackmore's whammy bar.

Ritchie Blackmore, and his whammy bar, are sure to be honored by your tribute.

You really captured that uhmm, hmm, uh, yeah, well I'm once again temporarily at a loss for words. But its definitely an awesome tribute.

And your approach to dynamics is also very cool.

I believe the great Dewey Cox used a similar approach.

Best,
