Cheap Hardware Cab Sim That Gets It Done

I'm a Gibson/Marshall stack kinda guy, that needs total control over SPL while writing and arranging.

I sometimes need to save every CPU cycle for other tasks. Most of the time, Wall Of Sound covers what I need from a cab sim, but there's times I can't afford the CPU hit, and want hardware.

Running thru a Torpedo Reload now, like what it does, prefer to work with that device now, but I can patch differently, when using a hardware cab sim, if need be.

Rather not pay megabucks, for scratch tracks that will never survive till release, but can't stand the screech and fizz of no-sim.

What you tried that works?

Better than expected for the price. It actually loads IRs,including 3rd party. It has power amp sims and EQ as well.No midi or balanced out,but for your application that shouldn't be a problem.

I watched Thorn's vid on the unit, and it sounded pretty good, but you know... Youtube.

Thanks!
