A pretty terrible idea, dangerous to you, your clients or visitors, your gear and your studio. If you have a fire and your insurance co finds out you did this they will probably refuse to pay out. A more immediate concern is getting to the source of your issues, possibly by investing in some ground lift adapters for your AC cables? That way you can localize the problem one piece of gear at a time, while changing out your patch cables. Tedious, yes, but the only real solution.
