The clip bpm should always be the original bpm or an even multiple of it. So if the original is 80.0 bpm, that would be 40 (divided by 2), 160 (multiplied with 2) and so on. I suppose one can experiment with triplet time and values like that. I've occasionally done that within a single bar in (correctly) warped clips.

Once Live has the actual original tempo it will adjust to the set current tempo accordingly.
